MY ROLE
Co-Founder & Full-Stack Engineer — architecture, product build, deployment

TIMELINE & STATUS
08/2024 – 08/2025, in production
OVERVIEW
Miftah is a multi-tenant community and knowledge-commerce SaaS I co-founded with Facacusub's founder, built for educators and community leaders. It brings courses, live sessions, community forums, memberships, and payments into one branded space — and grew to 100+ active enterprise sub-communities within 30 days of production launch.
One codebase serves many independent organisations securely, with data isolation enforced at the database layer, automated tenant onboarding, Stripe payment processing, and OpenAI-based pipelines for automated content metadata.
HIGHLIGHTS AT A GLANCE
Not another course tool — a community's whole home, under its own brand, on rigorously isolated multi-tenant architecture.
THE CHALLENGE
Educators running online communities are forced to stitch together a course tool, a community tool, a payment tool, and an email tool — none of which share data, and none of which carry their brand.
Serving many distinct communities on one platform demands rigorous data isolation: each tenant's members, content, and payments must remain completely independent, with zero risk of data bleed, while the product stays fast.
MY APPROACH
I designed Miftah's multi-tenant architecture from first principles: advanced relational-database isolation in Supabase, automated tenant onboarding, and isolated admin dashboards per community — one codebase serving many independent organisations securely.
Scope discipline shaped the launch: the core loop first — create a course, enrol members, run the community, take payment — done excellently, with features earning their way in from real usage.
WHAT I BUILT
0.1
Multi-tenant community engine
Independent communities operating securely on a unified codebase, with data partitioning enforced at the database layer.
0.2
Courses, memberships & Stripe payments
The full knowledge-commerce loop — course builder, member management, and Stripe payment processing — inside each creator's branded space.
0.3
OpenAI content pipelines
Automated content metadata processing built on OpenAI APIs, cutting manual curation work for community admins.
0.4
Creator & admin dashboards
Engagement, membership, and revenue visibility per community, plus automated notification and reporting pipelines.
OUTCOMES
Grew to 100+ active enterprise sub-communities within 30 days of production launch.
Courses, community, and monetisation consolidated into one platform per creator.
Automated onboarding and reporting reduced administrative overhead for community leaders.
